The 1,81 m tall England-born forward announced himself on the big stage as he grabbed his maiden Chelsea goal in the European competition.
After a rebounded shot was parried back into a dangerous area by the Legia keeper, the talented youngster was waiting on the scene to pounce and slot home the rebound.
George came through the Chelsea youth ranks and has been getting opportunities in the first team during European competitions and grabbed Thursday’s night opportunity by raking up a 7.7/10 rating in the 75 minutes he lasted for the Blues at the Stadion Wojska Polskiego.
