A Ghanaian queen mother has been shot dead

Residents of a Ghanaian town of Nungua have been left in the state of shock and mourning after the area’s newly enstooled Queen Mother was shot dead during her outdooring.

According to sources, the shooting and the eventual death of the Queen Mother has been described as purely accidental as the shoot was part of the traditional African ceremony.

Locals in the area of Nungua West had gathered to celebrate the enskinement of the Gamu Queen mother when the unfortunate incident happened which led to the eventual death of the woman.

The trend is becoming a worrying one in Ghana as this becomes the latest after social media influencer Kofi Adoma Wanwani was also accidentally shot in the eye during a traditional festival in the Ghanaian town of Dormaa Ahenkro.
