Japanese striker Takuma Asano registered his first goal of the season in Spain’s La Liga as he registered an early-minute goal for Real Mallorca in their 1-1 home drawn game with Deportivo Alaves during the weekend.

Asano, 30, struck the ball home on the 9th minute mark at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in Palma de Mallorca.

However, Kike Garcia drew parity for the visiting club on the 68th minute as the tie ended in a draw.

The former Arsenal player received the ball at the edge of the box and wasted no time in powering a thunderbolt that sailed straight under the crossbar.

Asano, who starred for Sanfrecce Hiromshima in 2016, joined Mallorca at the start of the 2024/25 season after leaving German side Bochum.
