South Korea opposition chief attacked during visit to Busan

South Korea’s opposition party chief Lee Jae-myung was attacked during a visit to the southern port city of Busan on Tuesday, the Yonhap news agency reported.

Lee was stabbed in the neck as he spoke with reporters after visiting Gadeok Island, the site of a new airport under construction.

His attacker was captured at the scene, according to Yonhap.
