A domestic carrier, Valuejet, has justified its reason for raising the standard of air travel in Nigeria, saying affordable, reliable, and customer-centric travel experience is not a thing that should be compromised.

Managing Director of the airline, Captain Dapo Majekodunmi, who urged Nigerians to explore the beauty and diversity of the country, said there were extraordinary centres suffering low patronage.

Majekodunmi stated this as the carrier celebrated its two-year anniversary, noting that it was offering 90 passengers free one-way flights to any of its served destinations.

He also said beyond the skies, ValueJet was committed to making a meaningful difference on the ground, explaining that the carrier’s corporate social responsibility, CSR, projects continue to create positive impacts.

According to him, the airline believed in creating a brighter future for all through educational initiatives, youth empowerment, and local partnerships.

He said: “As we celebrate ValueJet’s second anniversary, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for how far we’ve come on this incredible journey. What started as a vision to redefine air travelling in Nigeria has grown into something truly remarkable- thanks to the trust and support of our passengers, partners, and dedicated team. From day one, we have been able to make flying a more enjoyable, seamless experience. Today, I am proud to say that we have consistently delivered on that promise.

“We are also excited to share exclusive second-anniversary offers, specially designed to show our appreciation for your loyalty and trust in us. From our inaugural flight to the launch of new routes and services, each step has brought us close to realizing our vision of becoming Nigeria’s preferred airline. But we couldn’t have done it alone. It is your confidence in us that has fueled our growth and for that, I say a heartfelt thank you.”

The carrier offers services to Lagos-Abuja, Lagos-Port-Harcourt, Abuja-Port Harcourt and Abuja-Jos.

To qualify for the free flights, passengers are required to book their flights on October 10 and the lucky passenger to be drawn on the day will be given a travel voucher for the next ValueJet flight.
