Iran fires 15 fresh ballistic missiles at Israel with impact felt across Jerusalem

Iran launched 15 fresh strikes at Israel on Monday, just a day after the US hit precision strikes at Tehran.

Several explosions were heard across Jerusalem with sirens blared across northern Israel, according to information released by AFP. Meanwhile in the southern part of Israel, medicial officials responded to reports of a missile strike in Ashdod.

Iran said its latest missile and drone barrage on Israel marked a new phase of its military campaign, dubbed “True Promise 3”, targeting Tel Aviv and Haifa.

According to Iranian state media, Monday’s strikes involved a combination of ballistic missiles and drones.
