Real Madrid has made a big announcement about the legendary player Raul Gonzalez following the arrival of Xabi Alonso as the new manager for the European powerhouse.

According to a statement released by the club on Tuesday, the former captain for the Spanish national team and Los Blancos has informed the club of his decision to end his association with the club as a trainer in their youth system.

The former Pichichi winner managed the Cadete B and Juvenil B teams in the 2018-2019 season. Since then, he has been the coach of Castilla. In addition, in August 2020, he managed the Juvenil A team, with which he won the Youth League.

Meanwhile Real Madrid has accepted his resignation from the club and wished him and his family the best of luck.
