A small plane, carrying about five people, has crash-landed in a parking lot of a suburban neighbourhood of Pennsylvania in the United States, according to fresh reports.

From a dramatic footage shared by the Daily Mail, the Beechcraft A36TC is seen going into flames in the parking lot of Brethren Village in the township of Manheim.

According to sources, the plane took off on Sunday afternoon with its door open, causing it to distabilise mid-air and eventually crash landing into the parking lot after requesting for emergency landing.

Numerous injuries have been reported from the scene – including many who have suffered burns.

The aircraft crash triggered a fiery inferno and caused multiple adjacent vehicles to burst into flames between Fairview Drive and Meadowview Court.
