Ghana international Antoine Semenyo registered a crucial goal for AFC Bournemouth who frustrated Chelsea to a 2-2 drawn game at the Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League on Tuesday night.
Semenyo, who has been capped 25 times by Ghana and registered 2 goals for the West Africans, hit the back of the net with a decisive strike in the 68th minute to put the Cherries 2-1 ahead.
Bournemouth was able to protect the lead until defender Reece James equalised for the home side on the struck of full time.
Cole Palmer had carved the opening goal for the Blues on the 13th minute mark. However, Justin Kluivert pecked the scoring five minutes into the second stanza before Semenyo put the visitors into the lead.
The Black Stars attacker has now netted 6 Premier League goals and provided 2 assists in 20 games for Andoni Iraola’s side.
Semenyo has now scored against Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea in the league.
