Coronation Group has emphasized its commitment to initiatives that promote the appreciation of Africa’s rich arts heritage.

Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of the company, Ngozi Akinleye, who made the assertion, noted that the recently concluded 2024 Coronation Art Gallery exhibition brought to light the synergy between art, wealth, and gender inclusivity.

Akinyele revealed that the exhibition also spotlighted female collectors who have made significant contributions to the art world, often working behind the scenes, stating, “These 13 remarkable women have not only curated art collections of immense cultural value but have also played pivotal roles in preserving African heritage. At Coronation, we are committed to gender inclusivity, and this exhibition is an extension of that commitment. By spotlighting these pioneering women–curators of extensive and historically significant collections–we are not only celebrating their contributions but also empowering future generations of women in the arts.
