A Nigerian man, who is suspected to be one of the unseen faces behind the numerous arson attacks in Ghanaian markets, has been busted.

The man, whose name is yet to be identified, was arrested by citizens and presented to local police at a police station in Kasoa in the Central Region of the West African nation.

It could be recalled that in early 2025 the biggest clothing market in Ghana – the Kantamanto Market in Accra was set on fire with traders losing almost everything stored at the market.

A few days later, the Madina lorry station also in Accra was also set on fire. Annual fire attacks have become a big problem in Ghana with local traders losing many valuables and capital.

Below is the video of the incident.
