Members of the Ghanaian community in Osaka, Japan have mourned with Mr Evans Asare who lost his wife, Nami-chan, in May, 2026.
Mr Asare received the profoundly sad and devastating news during the early hours of one morning in May about his wife who was on her way to work.
According to his account to members of the Ghanaian Residents Association in Osaka, who gathered to mourn with him at the Naniwa Kumin Center in Sakuragawa, Osaka, his wife suddenly collapsed at the downstairs of their apartment while she was rushing off to work one morning.

Emergency services were called in to rescue the situation, however, she was pronounced dead on arrival at a health facility in Osaka.
Chairman for the Ghanaian Residents Association in Osaka, Mr Benjamin Yaw Ofori Atuobeng, led the members to express their profound condolences to him and urged him to remain strong.
About 100 Ghanaian nationals residing in Osaka are officially members of the Ghanaian Residents Association in Osaka.
