Ghana President Mahama names Korean in Ambassadorial role

Ghana’s President, H. E. John Mahama, has appointed half-Korean Kojo Choi as Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea.

Choi, who moved to Ghana at the age of 14, is of a mixed parentage – a South Korean Father and Ghanaian mother.

JafriQ Radio has cited his appointment contained in a letter signed by Callistus Mahama, and addressed to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

More about Kojo Choi

He is a seasoned entrepreneur who has spent a little over the past two decades in developing businesses in Ghana and across the West Coast of Africa.

He has acted in several capacities including acting as consultant for the Korean Embassy in Ghana and representing a number of multinational organisations in the West African nation.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of PaySwitch Limited.
