BREAKING: Ghanaian music icon dies after battling sickness

Ghanaian music icon Charles Kwadwo Fosu, who is known by his stage name Daddy Lumba, has died at the age of 60, according to reports from Ghana.

Lumba influenced the Ghanaian culture with his hit songs in the 90s.

In his recent stage performance, the Hi-Life singer was visibly seen unwell causing many fans to question his health.

He released 33 albums during his iconic music career.

The albums include critically acclaimed ones such as Aben Wɔha, Awosuɔ, Obi Ate Me So Buɔ, Sika Asɛm and Ebi Se Ɛyɛ Aduro.

In 1999, he won three awards including Best Album, Artist of the Year and the Most popular Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
