Monrovia — The Africa Caribbean SMEs Network and Investment Group (ACSMEN) has announced its innovative approach towards employment, which aims at empowering Liberians and building a new generation of successful business owners. The organization is employing intrapreneurs who will drive innovation and creativity to inspire many young people towards self-sufficiency through knowledge and skills acquisition.

With its African headquarters set to launch in Liberia by April 2024, ACSMEN is committed to making a positive impact on the country and the continent as a whole. The organization recognizes that investing in human capital is a crucial step in developing a sustainable economy, preventing unemployment, and promoting entrepreneurship. ACSMEN’s approach to employment through intrapreneurship is ideal for Liberians and Liberia, given its positioning as the host of the maiden and first Africa Caribbean SMEs Investment Summit scheduled to take place in June 2024.

The summit will be attended by over 5000 SMEs online and in-person visitors from across 19 Caribbean countries, as well as 54 African nations. The event is expected to foster partnerships, collaborations, and economic development, creating opportunities for small, medium, and large enterprises.

“Our goal is to empower our employees with the skills, knowledge, and support they need to thrive in a highly competitive business environment,” said Quincy Terrance Juwle, the Corporate Communications Director of ACSMEN. “We believe in creating a culture of entrepreneurship that will not only transform our company but also contribute to the economic and social development of Liberia.”

ACSMEN’s approach to employment is already yielding impressive results in the Caribbeans where it started in 2019 As a result the company witnessed significant increases in productivity, employee satisfaction, and profitability. The organization is building a new generation of Liberians and by extention Africans who are equipped with the skills and knowledge to tackle the challenges of the future, helping to create a more prosperous and sustainable Liberia.
