A United States of America ICE crack down on illegal immigration resulted in the arrest of about 956 persons nationwide on Sunday, the highest since Donald Trump introduced the policy.

The Trump administration has expanded the detention powers of several federal agencies since the introduction of the policy with many raids recorded in Miami, Chicago, and Newark.

The 47th President of the United States of America has operationalized his campaign promise of mass deportation of undocumented immigrants, leading to mass arrest in several US states.

Though Trump’s predecessor, Joe Biden, carried out deportation exercises during his tenure as President, however, most of the average of about 311 daily deportees were people who had committed criminal offenses while residing in the United States.

Trump, since his historic return to power, has carried out 21 executive actions to totally overhaul the immigration system of the United States.
