Japanese midfielder Ryotaro Ito got on the scoresheet for Sint-Truidense who recorded a 2-1 away victory over Westerlo in the Belgian top-flight league on Saturday.

The 26-year-old smashed the ball home for the match winner in the 65th minute mark to end Truidense’s 5-game winless run in the league.

He has now scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in 19 league games for Truidense.

Meanwhile, Japanese goalkeeper Leo Kokubo kept the post for the winners while Rihito Yamamoto replaced the goal scorer 20 minutes from time.

Defender Ryoya Ogawa was in full time action for the winners as he shored up the backline.
