Swedish-born Ghanaian teenager Genesis Antwi came off the bench to cameo for Chelsea in their 1-0 success over FC Copenhagen in Thursday night’s UEFA Conference League.
The 17-year-old right-back took the place of Portuguese midfielder Pedro Neto as he officially made his Chelsea senior debut.
It was the second successful time that manager Enzo Maresca had included the Stockholm-born in his match-day squad after the youngster warmed the bench last weekend in a slim victory over Leicester City.
Antwi was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on 11 May 2007. He celebrated his 17th birthday at the end of last season.
Chelsea have raved about the versatility of the youngster and have deployed him on several roles on the field including wing-back and offensive roles.
He joined the Blues’ Academy as an Under-12 and began playing Under-18s football during his final schoolboy year.
